I began my graduate education in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track as I was inspired to transform paradigm by taking an integrative, whole human approach to preventative care & the restoration of health. My path led me to focus on psychiatry & mental/spiritual wellness as an essential component to physical wellbeing. Our culture blames obesity for its high rates of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and many other ills; however, psychological beliefs, thought patterns, and behaviors preclude & contribute to excessive caloric intake.
